COVID-19 procedure

Vouchers and Booked Courses:

Please note that any period of Lockdown after the purchase of your Voucher is automatically added to the Valid Duration of your Voucher or Booking.

I am truly sorry that due to COVID-19 I will NOT be able to supply you with lunch as stated on my course description (except the Sharpening Courses), you will have to bring your own as well as any munchies you might see fit. Tea and coffee will be available. I will offer you clean and bleached mugs, however, I would urge you to bring your own.

It is imperative we observe the basic procedure described in this document. Please read carefully and ask for any clarification on doubts you might have. It is your responsibility as much as mine to ensure we do not spread this virus. I will only be running 2 day courses a week with 48-72 hours in between to minimise further any possible contamination.

We will observe the 6 foot/2 metre social distancing rule and we will be wearing gloves when handling tools. For finesse of work, occasionally, we will not use gloves but will compensate with extra sanitising gel, washing of hands and sanitising wipes. All the hand tools, workspace and toilet are thoroughly disinfected after each course.

The face shield I will provide you with has been thoroughly cleaned and bleached and will have to be worn when not wearing the face mask. You are free to bring your own face shield, but it must conform to EN166:2002 or above as it must comply with Health and Safety norms too. I will provide you with a face mask which you are free to take away with you but, feel free to bring your own should you prefer. You will also receive gloves that will protect you from contamination and any possible erosion from the grinder and you can take with you.

You must wear a leather apron which I will provide and has been bleached, again, feel free to bring your own
